I was walking the dog in the cemetery and noticed a plane come out of the East and make a low altitude turn right through Albany NY airspace and head South following the river, which I thought was strange. Mentioned it when I got home and just before I went out again the Today show cut to the towers to report a plane had hit. The plane I saw turn South.

I just finished a shift with one child and stopped home to change clothes before meeting another. I saw the first tower on fire and then the second plane hit. I stayed to watch a while and saw both towers collapse. I went to work for a while, but then all of the state buildings in town began to close because of the flight 93 crash (I live in eastern Pennsylvania), so I took my client home and I went home to my family.

Getting ready to leave the house with two of my kids to get a kitten. My husband called and said one of the twin towers was hit, I figured it was some moron flying too low.... the second plane had crashed by the time we got to where the kitten was, and the third plane hit the Pentagon by the time we got home. I finally realized we were under attack! I was glued to the TV and wanted my family home... where it was "safe". Later that night, my oldest was at football practice and was hit wrong, and ended up with a sprained neck.... not a good day!

I was in school watching kid after kid get pulled out of class. It was strange because I was in New York less than a month from then and went to the world trade center for the first time.

I was getting ready for work, a radio station, and got a phone call from a DJ. He told me to turn on the news, and when I saw the second tower fall, it was a feeling of absolute disbelief.

It was 10 AM. I was at college in my dorm room and dressed to go to my social psychology class. My suite mate came running into my room saying something like The World Trade Center was hit by 2 planes. So we ran back into her room and watched the news. But I had to go to class so I left. I got to my classroom and my professor said class was cancelled. So I went back to my room to watch the news.

just dropped my son off at Kindergarten, my husband was on leave from the Marine Corps and we were watching Good Morning America and drinking coffee...it was horrible... they closed the base to all civilians and people were taking their kids out of school and leaving base... we stayed and watched the news for the next 5 days straight... and the next day was my hubby's b-day, and we both forgot about it....
