A year ago...my friend was going through a horrible problem...you know Mardis Gras right? Well....when everyone was catching beads, my firend and her dad was at her grandpas house. She said her dad raped her during Mardis Gras at around 11:00...is that even possible??? How can her dad rape her? Well....she said her dad was drunk that night. She didnt want to tell anybody so she told me and my other best friend. That is so stupid!!? Why wouldnt she tell anyone? She wouldnt evne tell her stepmom or her real mom. Like a week later, she finally todl her real mom and then they went to court and she is currently living with her real mom now.
But she also sadi her dad was gonna be in jail for about 5 years. She said thats what the court said. About three days later. I saw her dad at the Wal-mart in the other line talking to his "friends". and I'm pretty sure it was him. She was lying uh? That is so stupid!!? Why would she lie like that? Or was she lying??? p.s. we're nto friends anymroe.

As for the dad he could have been out on bond until his trial. Its hard to believe anyone would lie about something like that but I understand where you are coming from because I had a friend that would lie about anything to get attention!! So if you are sure she is lying I wouldnt waste anymore time with her as a friend but be sure before you do cut her out because if she isnt lying you could be devasting her during a really really harsh time in her life. I have had 2 friends who were raped. One waited 2 weeks to bring it to law enforcement and the other never reported it and didn't say a word until years later. Do you have any idea how traumatic a rape is? How ashamed, guilty, and worthless they feel? Let alone this poor girl claims it was her own father! You sound rather insensitive about the whole thing. Another reason people don't say anything right away is for fear no one would believe them...

If she is telling the truth, there will be court documents to back up her story.
I am not saying that she is or isn't telling the truth -- but if you saw her dad in public, it does raise some suspicion. What would her motivation be to lie? Did she want to be with her real mother full-time? Unless you know that whole story, don't be too quick to judge.
YES -- a girl can be raped by her father. It is a sad truth that many young girls have been raped by their own fathers -- especially fathers that have drinking problems!

I had a teenager work for me that lied about everything bad, to get attention. None of it was true!! She names all these people that tried molesting her, and the funny part is none of these people are even interested at all. the other people, she has sex with. I'm not saying your friend is lying, I'm just saying there are people like that. Does your friend lie about alot of other things? if she is a good friend, you should know her enough to decide if you think she's just trying to get attention or telling the truth. I think if she was lying, she would say other people were doing bad things to her too.

Well anything is possible, I was molested by my father when I was 3, but I couldn't stop it. My mom knew, but the counselor she took me too said it might cause more damage to make me go thru court and all that so she never persued charges. But i think she is lying because you don't go to court a week after it happens. It takes many weeks/months.

Believe her....................the dog should go to prison for life or better yet the death penalty. In prison, the other inmates do not take kindly to those who hurt women and children so I am sure he is getting his fair share of being raped. If he is lucky he will be someones bi**ch and will have to adjust to being raped nightly by only one perv. But then again the b**ch could be used for currency by his main squeeze................rough.

SHE COULD HAVE BEEN TOO SCARED AT THE TIME TO TELL ANYONE. RAPE VICTIMS ARE OFTEN THREATENED AND ARE IN FEAR FOR THEIR LIVES. DON'T WRITE HER OFF AS A FRIEND SWEETHEART UNTIL YOU KNOW THE FACTS. SHE NEEDS ALL THE FRIENDS SHE CAN GET RIGHT NOW. WHAT IF IT HAPPENED TO YOU? THINK ABOUT THAT!

I would give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it did happen and maybe they didn't want to put him in jail. Maybe you should trust her.

believe her, she is your friend. he cant be in jail already, these things take time. trust me, i turned in a cousin for the same thing
