I helped my wife get her Visa to come to the US. We went through the whole process and she got it . Now we are seperated and she was on probabation for 2 years. Now she tells me that she got her Permanant residence card. I asked how she got that with out my involvement? She said she got a lawyer who did the paperwork?
I was not involved in any of this and never contacted by anybody. Is this legal???

It certainly shouldn't be legal. If I were you, I'd contact ICE and see what they suggest. You can find the info here
. http://www.ice.gov/about/contact.htm

or call 1-866-347-2423 They should be able to tell you exactly whom to contact.

Did you contact anyone to inform the government that you were no longer together and you wanted to pull your sponsorship? Unless you inform the proper agencies about a change in her status they do not know.
