double click the figure, and then go to layout. change it so the layout isnt inline with text. choose any other one. hope this helps.

Not sure what you mean by "moving" but if you use a 'decimal tab stop' it will keep numbers centred on a fixed decimal point position in a column.

It's all about setting tabs. Try some of these tutorials and you'll soon wonder why you didn't make use of them before. Best wishes.

Have you tried hilighting, then go format, paragraph, and untick "keep with next"
