There does seem to be a remarkable lack of condemnation from
the so called "moderate" muslim community doesn't there ?
I don't know if it is because they secretly support the radicals or that they are afraid of the radicals..
Maybe a bit of both..
I always wondered what the 72 virgins thought of being given
away as sex slaves...
Where do all these virgins come from ??
Is there a "Virgins are Us" superstore somewhere that I am not aware of ??

I'm really appalled by the answers the people have been giving here (umm...i guess no wonder ....they're non-muslims and admit they blame muslims).
In religion no man who kills innocent is right.....he is strictly WRONG..... you are only to fight when there is a war(the whole virgin and palace concept applies to those who die fighting in the battlefield...)....what the terrorists did was totally unnecessary and WRONG
In the end i just want to say I wish people will stop blaming religion. Religion does not make evil.....it is people who make religion seem so evil...
And where there is an attack....if the people involved are Muslim....why does that media have to mention that....He is a terrorist and thatz final.....
And well i'm not guilty for Sept 11 and same goes for the billions of other muslims not involved.... i see why we should feel guilty
I mean seriously are u guilty of the oklahoma bombings??
U got ur answer

Are u sure u'r American? American Muslims have shown in every possible way that they're against the 9/11 attacks, and the perpetrators of the attacks. Islam preaches tolerance and love. But can u tell me what ur country is doing in Iraq?Or why it is supplying Israel with the weapons to kill the Palestinians..who throw "stones of mass destruction" at the Israelias. When u live in the Arab World and see all that injustice being done, definitely someone will become just tooo angry and develop into an extremist. This doesn't ,however, mean we support these attacks in ANY way.

There is nothing anyone can say to this ..because everyone is so against Muslims..they think a some make everyone bad..most people have there minds made up and will not change their minds ..even if they had proof right in front of them..they would always find something...so all anyone can say is what happened was a tragedy and took many lives ....we cannot erase this from anyones minds..but the people responsible will be judged and will pay the price of what they have done...

That question of "Why are you afraid to speak out against your so called radical brothers?" is perhaps the dumbest question ever... If someone was to speak out against them, the radicals would view that as hating Islam (even if their version is the 'radical' version, they obviously don't see it that way) and they'd probably be killed or at least punished.
Also, don't hate Islam (it is quite clear that you don't like it). It's just as peaceful as any other religion. It's just the extremists that make it look bad.
Oh, and no, I'm not Muslim.

I have a Muslim roommate, he says that the 9/11 incident is the US's fault and blames it on our government instead of the religion of Islam
The thing is, many people in Islamic countries are raised mainly on the Koran, and taught that America is a Christian country. When Muslims in those countries see our movies, hear our music and read our news they think our actions are evil. So because they think America is all Christian, they think Christians are evil and that is why some are employing terrorism against us. Islam teaches that if you kill an infidel or die in battle with an infidel, Allah will compensate by giving you paradise with 72 virgins.
"Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah. then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme." Surah 9:111
Why do you think the attacks were made on 9/11/01?

Great question, and I think you asked it fairly.
That said, I have read many posts by Muslims that quote The Prophet Muhammad saying if you kill one innocent person, you kill all of humanity.
These posts seem to imply that the punishment for those who are terrorists is going to be whatever someone gets for killing all of humanity. Ouch.
peace
One more thing: BYSTANDER should get the 10 points. That's one of the best answers I've read about this subject.
