If you are looking for a purebred dog...check with the AKC at www.akc.org. You can locate reputable breeders that are willing to ship the dog. Most reputable breeders will not ship a puppy under 12 weeks though. Make sure you know the requirements of the country regarding health checks, vaccinations, quaratine restrictions and the like. If you are just interested in a dog and are not concerned with the breed try the local shelters. They are everywhere. Avoid any of the puppies-r-us type of online sites though. You will not get what you paid for. Be prepared for extensive research.

We imported one of our German Shepherds from overseas, but a friend of ours personally checked out the breeder for us. It was worth the effort and time. Most reputable breeders will have a source for shipping animals, and some vets too. The animal must have a vet report on its health before being shipped. United airlines ships animals - at least in the US.
Good Luck. Be very careful.

Check to see what the importation regulations for animals is first. Some countries do not allow the importation of animals. Jamaica for one only allows animals from the UK and even then certain conditions must be met.
I turned down a job in Kingston because I could not take my cats with me.

Please explain the reasonableness of buying an animal online??? Are you a true animal lover? Have you ever had a pet? If so, then you must realize that you need to go in person to choose a pet whom you can meet and "bond" with. Trying to purchase an animal online indicates that you have no true idea of what owning and loving and relating to one really means. I would wonder why you want one to begin with. It sounds like laziness to me, which leads me to wonder how dedicated and energetic you'd be to actually caring for that animal once you owned it.

Buying anything online is risky. Buying a pet is just plain stupid. You want to see where the pet is coming from, whether the kennels are clean and pets healthy and if the breeder is legit.
