If you believe in Jesus but not God? Does it mean you're Agnostic? I ask this because one of my friends believes that.. I for once don't believe in God or Jesus since i am an Agnostic so the obvious is.. i need proof and existence just like all the others..

A person must believe in God in order to believe in Jesus because Jesus is God in the flesh. The Jesus only people are confused and need to be corrected in their thinking. You cannot have one without the other. This is a false teaching. When you say that you are an agnostic, but that you do not believe in Jesus or God, well I am confused. It sounds to me like you are an atheist.

How can you believe in "someone"? You can believe in a concept, a statement, a message but not in a person in him/herself.
Anyway, you both seem to be agnostic persons. Coherent
Not everyone needs proofs about what they believe in. Agnostics do need proofs.

If you do not believe in God, you are an atheist. An agnostic believes in God, but places no belief in organized churches(which are the fabrication of man).

Agnostic: 1. a.One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God.
b. One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.
2. one who is doubtful or noncommittal about something.
If you must have proof then how are you any better then the Jewish leader at the time of Christ?

I am not sure. It seems quit difficult to believe in one and not the other. After all God is the Father and the creator of Jesus. where does this person think Jesus came from. and if they do not believe that they came fromGod how can they believe in Jesus? For He says that the only way to the Father is by believing in me, because He died for our sins.

Who knows.
The fact that God is still infinite and that human beings cannot view infinity is something to remember in your view of the Divine. Your view of the Divine is always much more complicated than saying a name like "Jesus" or "Lord" or "God." Here is a explanation of the attributes of God (this makes me want to name Swedenborg a "classic theologian):"
"This only One and very Self is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent [in all places at all times, all knowing and all powerful]. This also every Christian acknowledges from his doctrine and every gentile from his religion. In consequence, wherever he is, a man thinks that God is there and that he prays to God at hand; thinking and praying so, men cannot but think that God is everywhere, that is, omnipresent [in all places at all times]; likewise omniscient [all knowing] and omnipotent [all powerful]. Everyone praying to God, therefore, implores Him from the heart to lead him because He can lead him; thus he acknowledges the divine omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence, doing so in turning his face to the Lord; thereupon the truth flows in from the Lord" (Divine Providence n. 157).

if you were agnostic you would not be asking anyone if they know something about god or things outside of human experience because agnostics are persons defined as ones who beleive nothing can be known or is known about god or those things out side the human experience however if you beleive in jesus but not god this does not make you agnostic because jesus is also called god by some beleivers saying that he is god come to earth in the form of man since in human experience people say said or thought god was harsh because he was greater than man and not able to feel the things of men to be understandable of those hardships that people experience and thus came to earth as a man to proove the understandings to have mercy on the people and to show that he is mercyfull but if you beleive jesus only a wise person and not as god then you might be closer to agnosticism but then agin the agnostic definition may have meant a person who thinks they know god and others dont know anything about god so they would go about teaching &nostics=knoweledge or teachings of a {G} hints god-od=g +2 or more (G's) speaking about our beleifs=ges*us those who pronounced gutteral guesses or geeses caused the j to be adopted for the secrets to be findable through the proper pronounciation signifigant of the G and J of the tenth letter for the ten laws thus jesus came from gods name and was adopted as gods children hints a*g*nostical teaching although i do not know of things outside of human experience except what i think are my thoughts which no one could tell you least i had told them as jesus likewise said so it is out side of your experience and why do you not beleive in yourself?or the people or that a spirit of god is what you are a part of as spirits are defined as ghost and or emotions of which you have as a liveing ghost who is in possesion of a body that you are in which such flesh also known as god in the acronym genes of dna which cares for things that you may not realize whilst you witness outer experiences and both flesh and spirit created by the designer of humanity who gave us the image and the certain parts necessary to be the children of god as god designed us with both !? if you have questions email me at freikeygee@sbcglobal.net and i will be happy to do my best to proove that god does exist and can be known about

It means you believe in a book written by man. It means you hate the politics of religion and don't trust church leaders, and certainly don't believe they speak for God.
It means you're more succeptible to free thought since you don't just do what your church tells you. One step closer...
