If u use windows 98 or ME, Before windows start up, click F8 Then command prompt only. Then type in Format C: If is a floppy, Format A: If u using windows 2000 or XP, Just put in the Setup disk and during the course of the setup, dey may ask u to format if u want a clean install. Make sure u back up yur important stuff before u format. Format means total cleanout of yur Hard drive.

If is a diskette, simply put the floppy in the floppy drive. Go to my computer, right click on the floppy and choose format then quick format. Or u can delete the files manually. Run a scnadisk or diskcheck after to make sure yur floppy is in good working condition. Right click on the floppy, properties then chooze the tools tab. Laterz
