I guess it's because people like you try to bait other people into arguments.
BTW, are you against Christians like Sir Issac Newton and Harriet Tubman too?

Your point exactly the first poster "symanlegrix" replies telling you that you have got an offensive logo... i personally find that logo offensive when it is the right way around...
"Why is religon the start of all arguements?"
Because all the delusional religious types, have NO PROOF what so ever that their particular sky daddy even exists ... and this appears to be the base for their continued wars and blowing sh*t up all the time... ie. My man-made pretend "god" is better than yours...
Eventually, the religions we know today will get replaced by another religion in good time... xtianity and islam will be consigned to the dark ages where they belong... compare it to the Egyptions... we dont worship cats and bury our dead in pyramids anymore, do we? no, therefore :. the Egyption gods are just as fake as the gods that people worship today... (well they seem to worship a book more than a god)
As the generation unfold, they will become more and more wise in the knowledge that GOD DOES NOT EXIST and NEVER DID.
So I lie, do i xtians ? Well take the test RIGHT NOW and prove it to yourself that god is fake and prayer really does not even work. (xtains mutters to self "I dont need to *prove* god .. not even to myself.. maybe i am delusional... mutter" ...
"micheva l" says "BURN IN HELL MOTHER ******! " yes, she's a lovely christian girl ... with a foul and evil mouth and a delusional mind ... something about a fake prohit called jesus son of who*e....
The world needs more lions :-) I just wanna say this coz it feels good ....
"N O - C H R I S T I A N S ! " gosh image a world with none, peace at last :-)

I'm not "against" all Christians - I'm FOR the truth. So you are a "satanist"? Do you realize that in order for you to believe in Satan you have to believe in the stories in... the Bible? "Satan" is a Hebrew word for "adversary", so you are worshipping "the adversary"... that doesn't exist. You are worshipping nothing if you worship "Satan" because there IS NO Satan. Effectively you are worshipping "the wall".
I don't think ALL arguments start out with Christianity - have you looked at the political pages? Seen questions on evolution? Seen some of the questions on complicated personal relationships on here? Agreed - a LOT of it is what you say it is, I just wouldn't say that ALL of it is. Here is an excellent link from the Skeptics Dictionary - you will like some of it: http://skepdic.com/satan.html Here is another interesting link: http://education.yahoo.com/reference/encyclopedia/entry/Satan and the most exhaustive: http://education.yahoo.com/reference/encyclopedia/entry/Satan I can understand why you don't believe in Christianity, but I don't understand why you believe in a remnant of it that is also nothing more than myth.

Religion starts arguments because no one wants to be wrong. Our faith in something unprovable is a blind one. We believe because we do not because there is evidence. Once a person takes a stand about that, they must justify why they believe it and when questioned about it, internally we don't have the evidence and know it so the next best thing is to get mad and try to make the other guy prove it. Christians only have the bible, other faiths have their writings but think about it, all those facts in those books, why you couldn't prove you sat on the toilet this morning. What's the proof? You know what I mean. Personal beliefs will always be like this. It's like asking a mother who the prettiest baby is, hers will be the answer. It is her personal belief.

Discussions about religion start arguments likely as much as politics because it is one of those hot potato subjects. There is no empirical fact and mostly belief which some believe is fact.
Basically you have what amounts to is glorified opinions and everyone of course always believes theirs is the correct one. When no one is willing to acknowledge that the person they are debating is making a valid point and everyone feels their back is up against the wall what will they do? React like any cornered 'animal' and go on the attack.
I have no problems with anyone from any belief system so long as they are willing to be respectful of myself and my opinions because I will give them the same in return.

"Im against all christians!!!"
You just answered your "argument" question by this statement. How can anyone engage in real dialogue when faced with such a stark judgment?
I have my problems with Christians too - particularly when they tell me I'm going to hell. I simply accept that this is the position that they believe in, and move on. But there are some very interesting Christians out there who have open, creative and inquisitive minds. When I engage in dialogue with these people, we both walk away with a broader understanding of each other's positions.

Christianity is religion by intimidation. If you believed someone would torture you for eternity if you didnt unquestionly allow them to control you, you might be irrational as well.
On top of this, if one of your duties was to promote the religion without questioning, you would know not to listen and only force your agenda. I know - my parents are like Jesus lobbyist. They are being blackmailed by a bully so I while I sometimes find their rants tiresome, I feel sad for them more.
Atheists, Satanists and Pagans arent required to force their beliefs on others so its understandable who how being on the receiving end of it is so infuriating.

There are plenty of things one can argue about, i.e. politics, philosophy, money, etc. Religion is not necessarily the problem as man is the inventor of such a thing. The root of strife is much more fundamental than Christianity.

Because people have forgotten the essence of religion, which is to develop pure love for God, the Supreme Being, no matter what name we call Him. Such a person who has developed pure love for the Lord is the greatest well-wisher of all living beings.
Sometimes it is necessary to argue in order to establish the Truth. Not relative truth according to my opinion or your opinion, but Absolute Truth. For that we must argue.

It's called free will. I know you said no Christians, but maybe you should have posted this on a satanist site, instead of a place where there are people from all walks of life, and all different opinions.
Anyway, in answer to your question, it's because there are two things that, if a person has an opinion about them, they are very passionate about: Politics, and religion.
I will passionately defend my faith, just as you passionately speak against it.

It's just you. You probably put a religious slant on questions & comments and create your own religion-based argument in your head before you even reach for the keyboard, so the whole thing really starts with you.
(I'm not a christian or any other religious fanatic).
