It could take several weeks for the iron in your body to build back up and for you to notice a difference, but give it time and you will have more energy and will eat better also.

If you are iron deficient, it can take three to four weeks for the iron to begin to reach normal levels in your system. Anemia will have a definite affect in a negative way on both your appetite and memory, you will begin to see a difference in both those area within the same period. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.

Yes Anemia can affect your memory and concentration,it makes you tired, sluggish you bruise easily sometimes people faint etc. I would say it would take a week or less to start feeling minimal results but results will increase. I have had Anemia before.

Taking extra iron can be dangerous. Are you really anemic? Taking any supplement takes a few weeks, however pills take anywhere from 40 min. to 4 hours to get into your system. A lot of time there is little to no absorption. I suggest you take a powder multi-vitamin w/ iron. Powder vitamins absorb into your system within 5 min. with 95% absorption. http://www.totalproducts.unfranchise.com

yes it can affect memory and concentration
anemia means you don't have enough blood cells red to be able to carry enough oxygen, so it affects all of the things that require oxygen.

it will take weeks to feel better with iron tablets

yes, anemia can affect your memory and concentration, however, i have to ask why you feel you need iron suppliments.

you could have a liver disease (which produces the same issue your having) and iron could be dangerous.

get tested for HBV and HCV-both liver diseases.
