3-4 months, realistically. Afterall, it is highly unlikely that you gained the weight in less time than that, so losing it fast is also unlikely and not considered healthy.

Try this free website where you can track your calories eaten and burned through exercise and also get support from chat boards with other members called http://www.sparkpeople.com

It's an excellent resource, full of good tips, tools and advice and even shows demonstrations of proper exercise and strength training techniques and it really got me motivated after years of demotivation. I don't what it was about this site, but I've been exercising nearly everyday since I started it.

I've lost 10 lbs so far, been on it for 2.5 weeks!

Thw healthy amount of weight loss in a week is 1-2 pounds. If you are heavy then weight may come off at a faster pace at first, then the weight loss will start to slow down even if you are doing the same things to loose it. You may need to work harder at that point.

A good and healthy rate of weight loss is 2-3 pounds a week. So you're looking at about 10 weeks.

you could effectively lose as much as 3 kilos a week, so 10 weeks. yet plan on having a vulnerable 2nd each so often and purely dropping a million or 2 kilos. the best element to do is to set your objective around 12 - 15 weeks.
