Can I create a virtual paint color of my walls?

I want to change the color of my walls. What's the best program I can use with my digital camera, to create different colors on my walls?

I always recommend PaintShop Pro. It has a lot of features for the price, and once you learn how to use the selection tools, you can do a lot of experimental coloring. I've used it on van pictures to try out different color schemes and had good results.
