They have the most expensive clothes at the mall, and they ignore you when you walk into thier store.They dont say thank you or anything.... Why can't they be like Aeropostale and AE??

I don't have experience with them in their stores, but - I have worked in retail a number of times, and mostly for the May Company divisions. In the retail establishments where I have worked, if the employees acted the way that you describe, they all would have quickly found themselves scanning the want ads, since they all would have been promptly fired-!! You learn in your training that the customer is the one who ultimately pays your salary. The customer buys from the store, which then issues your paycheck. Being rude to a customer is plain stupid.

You've probably run into a bunch of meanies and snobs, but I'm pretty sure that not all of the employees at A&F are like that. Why didn't you ask for a manager? If they want you to continue spending your money there, they could've be more cordial to you. Frankly, if you feel that way, it'll be better if you spent your money somewhere else.

They're not really being rude - they're DEAF from the insanely loud music that's played...The only other place worse is HOllister - which I swear must be owned by A&F too....The people there are even more rude/confused/derranged cause the music is LOUDER like that's possible and the lighting is crazy! I can't even buy jeans there cause the dressing room is so dark!!!!

I like AE. I've heard Abercrombie is racist and I don't like their clothes, so why shop there?

I don't know...I have never made it into the store .....that huge 12 ft poster of the gay guy staring out the window at me creeps me out...so i don't shop there....do all abercrombie stores have a huge picture of a gay guy in their window? do straight guys buy clothes there?
