I think the deluded might disagree by arguing that God's will is found in one of the various sacred texts on offer.

I have to say that this idea is, to an extent, flawed. Surely religious folk agree that everything comes from God, including morality, however in the sense that you are using it (only the religious are moral) I have to say is wrong. There are plenty of "religious" folk touting around putting on a show for everyone, lacking morality minutely or completely (pedophile priests, corrupt imams declaring jihad on anything that moves...). Likewise there are plenty of people who do not believe in God or follow religion that have the most outstanding moral values. For this reason we cannot clump people into "religious and moral" or "non-religious and immoral" as there are far deeper issues we have yet to grasp, and why only God alone can judge us correctly.

Religion is becoming a joke. God's will is not in the bible, that is man's will. I'm not sure where morality comes from-some people who don't even believe in God have morals.

OK you need to get off the rationalizing.

God is Love and wishes the salvation of the human race. God repeatedly reveals himself in scripture because saving the human race is His will.

Salvation comes from belief in God and following the commandments.

Absolutely agree. How do you know the Bible is God's word? (The first respondent) Because some human men thousands of years ago told you so? I do believe in God but from faith not because of a book. You believing that the Bible is the word of God is your own faith, not fact.

First of all people have to understand that we are a very self serving people and that there is only one GOD that nobody really wants to listen to. He says "thou shalt not commit adultry", but its so much fun to just have sex in any way we want, so forgot GOD we'll just make our own god and he'll let us do as we damn well please! So is there a real GOD and is there a real Hell ? Well I know for sure that we all will find out one day that no one is expecting to happin soon to them. All I have to say to all of us is good luck and I hope it was really worth it to be so self centered and unruly!

Who says we cannot know God's will.there would not be too much sense in having the bible if it did not tell of God's will for us. In the Old Teatament the ten commandments is God's will. And as Jesus said I did not come to destroy the law but to fullfill it. To covet and murder and be sexually immoral and to worship another God instead of me and or an idol are all wrong things. Instead of an eye for eye He tells us to forgive 7x7 and to love our enemies and to pray for them. How much more of His will do you want to know about?

we can know God's will when we know the word of God, and our minds are transformed by it. you are in error because you don't know the word of God, or it's power.
Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

i guess we can all agree that god gave us free will not even science can explain this, morality is just a persons perception of right from worng it all depends on how a person is brought up by his/her parents or other influences. killers may percive killing as right becuase of theire background im my opinnion god just gave us directions on what is right from worng ultimately its on us if we accepot it or not.
