Are there more horror stories or more good outcomes from on line dating?

As with most situations that require volunteered feedback, you will always hear more bad stories than good. People who have good experiences are happy with the person they have met and have no reason to make a claim for any website on their success. While the ones who have horrible experiences make sure that everyone knows what happened. So when looking at everyones answers on here, be very skeptical, because a lot of the time they are going by the few (and most likely only) instances where they heard about a bad experience.

Just be careful and use common sense. Just as you would if you were dating in person. I know of a few couples that have met online and are now dating or married so it can't be all bad. Besides if everyone online were bad then you wouldn't be on here now would you and neither would I. Unless you think you're the only good person online ;)

I actually met my future husband through Y! answers...he responded to one of my questions and we started emailing. I think as long as you're smart about what you do, there is nothing wrong with online dating. Just make sure you tell a person you're close with that you are meeting this online person...give them all the contact info you can get (full name, phone number, place of employment, and anything else you think is important). Just remember to have fun and be safe, Good Luck!!

online dating is great, especially if you are shy, new to town or just dont know how to meet people. understand what you are getting yourself into and dont expect too much too soon. i did online dating a few times and met some flakes (who hasnt?) but the good people i met were well worth it, i still talk to several of them.

no longer truly i love it each so often the surely undesirable ingredient about it, is that your no longer head to head yet u can continuously connect up and performance something going I do all of it the time on facebook :3 yet when u favor to u can because on line courting makes the first experison sturdy. i'm surely 15 and that i know what i'm speaking about.

whats the point? honestly, you cant physically be around the person and youre looking into a computer screen. unless it actually evolves into real life dating then its a different story...and if i was a cyber "bf", hell id go talk to any girls i want cause no one will know about it.
