domestic short hair makes the best of pets as far as i am concerned. Fancy cats also bring fancy illnesses from too much in-breeding (should be a law against that). Don't get me wrong! I love ALL cats, but for companionship - get a short-haired tabby - there is less fuss in the manner of care which means more time for the simple joy and pleasure of just having a cat!

I love Manx! They have very short tails, about 1 to 3 inches usually with a little corkscrew in the end of the bone. They also have very pointed ears, and they can be very possessive of their humans. Whenever I go out of town overnight or for the weekend, my Manx has to chew on my ankle or the back of my leg for awhile before she forgives me for leaving her. My cousin has one too (my cat's brother) and she had to have him declawed because every time her husband would try to be romantic with her, the cat would claw his ummm..testicles! But they are also very sweet and loyal! They love attention!

Definately russian blue..theyre so solid and have the most gorgeous face!! One day ill get one.....i always seem to get tabbys (had 4 of them) not that theres anything wrong with that but id love a russian blue.
