Any fruits are low in calories and fat and high in fibre and are a good addition to a healthy diet. However overeating anything will cause weight gain.

Try this free website where you can track your calories eaten and burned through exercise and also get support from chat boards with other members called http://www.sparkpeople.com

It's an excellent resource, full of good tips, tools and advice and even shows demonstrations of proper exercise and strength training techniques and it really got me motivated after years of demotivation. I don't what it was about this site, but I've been exercising nearly everyday since I started it.

I've lost 10 lbs so far, been on it for 2.5 weeks!

I have worked at a shop for nature-products, and we used to sell stuff on pineapple base, for losing weigt. I am not sure the entire pineapple will do you good because it contains a lot of sugar. Perhaps pineapple has something in it that does do you good when it comes to weigt, but in that case you may want to use the pineapple based product instead of a real pineapple.

Pineapple contains a lot of sugar, sugar turns to fat. Being diabetic type 2 that was one of the fruits recommended to stay away from. She is also probably adjusting the rest of her diet to help with weightloss.
