Hi ,
I live in Lyme Regis and there is lots to do if you haven;t already been. Try the philpot museum for local information and lots of interesting features. There is also the historic harbour and Cobb. Try out the nice pubs along the seafront and have a stroll on the newly developed beach.
Another great place i would like to mention is 'The Undercliff' an amazing walk on the cliff between Lyme Regis and neighbouring Seaton. The walk follows through a 'jungle' of trees and lanslides as is well worth a visit. Check out this link

have a good time.

My mate and his wife just came back from Lyme Regis, they said it was lovely, and the good weather helped.
They took their dog, and they love to walk, so they spent much of the time just walking the dog, and enjoying the scenery. They didn't mention any specific locations, but I know they just take-in the general surroundings and enjoy the atmosphere.
Have a nice time, I know they did.

I was there about 4 weeks ago. The town itself is probably only good for day of sightseeing. The best place we visited in the area was Portland, across the causeway from Weymouth.
If you have a GPS at your disposal and you get bored you could try Geocaching. What's that? Go to www.geocaching.com

The fossil museum is interesting...
Its a very small town so you'll find everything you want within walking distance.
Try West Bay down the road a bit if you want to get away from the tourists
