I ordered my gown a few months ago and it seems different some how. It is ill fitting. I am within the last two months of my big day. I ordered what I believe is called a "kiss of Blue". I think that it is bluer than normal. Ladies, are you familiar with these kiss colors? They have kiss of green, lavender, blue, yellow, and pink. These colors are suppose to be very, very light. Tuesday, I will be reordering. What color is best? Help me out ladies.

My best friend tells me that I need to tell a little about me, so people can make a good choice. The gown is ill fitting around my boobs and loose in the waist. The entire gown was suppose to be form fitting. I have hazel eyes, and my skin complexion is light with brown undertones. I am height challenged and I am only 5'. But I am small but curvy. Sounds like a personals ad (lol) just trying to get the best fit

your dress is kiss of blue? How gorgeous! If you are not liking that color (the blue is a little darker than the other colors), then order the yellow. My neice had it at her wedding and it was amazing. Pair it with a dark lavendar and then add some daiseys and lavendar flowers. Gorgeous and elegant.

Don't worry about being a virgin or not being a virgin. If you want to wear white and you lost your viriginity at 13, no one is going to criticize you. It's your wedding.

Here's the deal: you have to be happy. There will be NO DRESS that will come to you from the factory and fit you perfectly. That's not why you buy a dress. They have seamstresses who are pros at alterations. You may think that it will fit perfectly, but if it doesn't it's not that big of a deal.

If you don't like the blue, think about it. I know nothing about you, and personally I think blue would be cute. Something new, old, blue, borrowed, etc. Plays into it well. Have a friend take a picture of you in it from 5 feet away, which is the closest the majority of your guests will be. Don't rush into reordering until you know for certain. I would reorder on Friday so you have time to mull over your decision.

Of course, it's all about how you feel in it.

Were it me, with having the olive (brown) undertones to your skin, I would definitely stay away from yellow, because even the faintest hint of yellow could cast your skin a sickly color.

With the hazel eyes, I would stick to either a kiss of pink or a kiss of green, both of which would work beautifully with your complexion and eye color.

If you still love the dress, you should find a seamstress to refit it. They can do wonders and you do want this dress to fit you well. If you're disappointed in the color (I've never seen light blue look good on anyone), then definitely reorder. And, heck, it's your wedding... wear white if you want to! Get one with a bit of color in it. You and your girlfriend should start hitting all the stores (petite sections) and see if you can find a dress you love without having to order it.

I was told by a couple of different seamstresses that green looks good on ANY complexion. So you might want to try the kiss of green.
I never believed it until I was planning my wedding. I have girls of every complexion in my wedding party and I ended up putting them in green because I could not find any shade of any color that looked good on them, other than EVERY shade of green! And one of them fits your description to a T!

I read in Cosmo a while back that brown complexions and eyes are best complemented by blue and purple tones.
