River gives you a great visual experience.Meditation requires you to close your eyes.So don't meditate when near a river.Just observe.

I like meditating near the Gulf of Mexico. Also in my own yard, which is big, quiet and pretty.

I also like to find a great big oak tree and lay under the tree at night meditating and connecting with the god's or goddess of choice

meditating anywhere is good.. it doesnt matter where u are. but a river is nice start.. very peaceful and at one with nature..

Yes, and if I can't get to the river or stream, I have one of those electric waterfalls that works wonderfully.

It would be nice. The ocean is a good place as well and closer to where I live.
