There were some little mis-haps...... but it shows that he too is only human. Personally I felt dis-heartened when he forgot the words to a couple of his songs. But maybe it was far too much pressure for the guy. (it was clear that he was gutted, forgetting the words to the Take That song - Back for good)
And to top it off, he falls down on stage. I was disappointed for him as it was live on TV - and hyped for going down in history as the first ever HD gig.

I must say though, that live in Hampden Par, Glasgow - HE ROCKED! None of the unfortunate events above happened. And I feel it was more of a performance. The crowd feedback was far better than that on the telly last night, and it was certainly a much smaller crowd.

How do you FEEL about the performance on TV. Degrading or Upgrading? Insight or just shite?

Unwell....

Robbie said that he had to be given a steroid injection to get on stage. I can confirm that this was just stage banter - as he said pretty much the same thing in Glasgow - both nights.

I think he maybe got swept away in the whole ambience, with all the cameras - live feed and the home country audience. He has said that he feels most under pressure in his home country.

I could tell that the sound system wasn't at it's best at the beginning of the concert. I wasn't sure if it was a TV problem or not - thanks for letting me know.

I was at the gig saturday and was pretty disappointed. I am a Robbie fan and have followed him from TT and never missed a tour yet, but sat night he wasn't at his best. I believed the poorly story coz to be honest he looked knackered and his voice was a little rough. what u missed on sky one was the sound system breaking down and most of roundhay being unable to hear him for the 1st 20 mins or so - don't think that helped with my interpretation of the gig either.

you have to face it robbie williams is totaly over rated as a singer and a performer the reason he cant remember the words to his songs is because he gets tha crowd to sing them for him. i didnt see histv performance but i wish i had i could have done with a laugh

I personally thought he was excellent. He is a human being, and allowed to make mistakes. I am not a huge fan of his, but I think he is a fantastic performer, and would go to see him just for that reason.
