The thought of food disgusts me, but i eat cause i have to, whether it be from boredom of hunger or just the need im not sure but i feel so guilty when i do eat, i often eat in secrecy ad when i am asked what i have eaten i feel ashamed to have eaten, i dont eat in public because i know everyone is thinking look at that fat ugly cow like she needs to eat anymore food.I skip meals as often as i can i eat dinner every night cause my dad makes it for me and i cant not eat it, i eat lunch maybe 3 times or so a week and i never ever eat breakfast.Everytime after i eat something i think about throwing it up, its all i think about is just waiting till no one is around so i can.I havent thrown up since i was 9 and im 16 now and the thought of vomit is gross but if it means being thin id do it in a heartbeat.Could this be the start of something worse to come?

worse to come? sorry but it sounds like you're allready there.. you've got an eating disorder and some body concept issues.. but at least you realize that you may have a problem and that's a start.. go to your doctor and they should tell the best places to go for local help
and for some more information to help you come to terms with things..

Sounds pretty bad. I'd speak to a school counsellor, teacher or someone similar. Food is a wonderful thing. If you eat the right stuff, in the right amounts, it isn't at all fattening, and will keep you healthy all your life.
Do your best to change what you eat. Cut out all forms of junk. Don't eat carbs after lunch. Make vegetables your main thing, and you'll be a lot happier.
But speak to someone in the meantime.

Yes You should see the doctor and talk to him..
You will only make yourself really sick by not eating on regular basis,if people can't accept you for being you forget about them..
it don't sound like you abuse the food so it could be stress and stuff keeping you from burning the stuff of properly .
and ones who would think you would be a "Fat Cow" well I bet they are the type that are so thin a gust of wind can blow them to the next county.

instead of skipping meals everyday, just eat like normal people, 3 meals a day, but just go out and exercise. and cut down on the junk food. need to eat healthy. don't eat anything have you have eaten the meal. Vomiting food is just wrong. you can't starve yourself to lose weight, that's the most unhealthy way to lose weight. the vomiting way can help you lose weight at a fast pace till you reach certain weight, then it'll slow down. but it's unhealthy to lose weight like that. you should just eat healthy and exercise. And no junk foods, no pop.

YES! Absolutely! You need to see a professional! You have an eating disorder. Something in your brain is not working right and you need to see a professional to get the help you need. You have been brainwashed partly by the media and what is portrayed as "attractive, lovable, and beautiful". This has been going on for a long, long time for you. Please get the help you need. I am sure you are a beautiful girl inside and out.

Eating disorders are very much psychological and they take control of people's lives. I suffered from bulimia until I was diagnosed with cancer and had no choice but to get help for it. Don't wait until you let these issues with food overtake your life, seek help now. There are plenty of places that offer counseling and other services. Once you actually become bulimic or anorexic, it will literally become an obsession and be much harder to deal with.

you should see your school counselor if you're comfortable with him/her or you can contact your local mental health office. If you dont have health insurance, you may qualify for state health insurance. I've left you two good sites for some info, the first has a search for Mental Health by state, on the left hand side of the page.....I've worked for both mental health & DES in my state, I'm also a mom of a recovered bulimic daughter, please talk to your dad if you can otherwise the school counselor, a teacher or other trusted adult that will help you through this.........
I'll keep you in my thoughts & prayers,
D~~
