How can you spend so much time with someone and move on to the next so fast? Are they just cold hearted? If you are with someone for so long how do you not have feelings? How can you even stand being around someone all the time that you must have not had feelings for?

you know? i had the same problem with my ex. we had dated for 2 1/2 years and lived together for just about 2 years when the relationship fell apart. when i came back to my parents, not 3 weeks later i heard he was "seeing" someone else. it hurt. for me it felt like all the time we were together, it never mattered to him. sucks.. i guess guys need to feel like they are "needed" to some extent, so they go out and find the first woman that is available.. sucks big time..

People are sometimes like that,male or female,
and the more the law allows,the more it will
happen. People use to have laws that helped
protect them from things such as this,of course
it was for those who were legally married,but
now,people can leave when they want to.
I don't know what happened in your situation
but being too controlling or bossy is one reason
people leave,or if you crowd their space and
always want to be all up in their business.
People tend to share more about themselves
when they feel loved and trusted.
Some people are just mean,or just bad,but alot
of people who leave a person for another -
person may be confused about what love is?
For whatever reason,it still happened,so don't
beat yourself up for it.
People make mistakes,and some people know
it,while others feel it was the right thing to do.

Hun, some men are pigs. They only care about the boobs, butt and pretty face. They don't relize that its what is inside the girl that counts. But, if you are really lucky, you can find a man, that would never treat, a man who would take a bullet for you, and a man that is willing to wait till marrige to have sex. Those kind of men are hard to find, but they are out there somewhere. And if your really lucky, you will find a man who will do all 3 things I just mentioned. But unfortuanatally, your man was one of those pigs. He was what woman call a "bounceback". You dont want a bounceback. He didnt care about your feelings. He probabally had done that to every single girl he had been with. He is a player. Have you ever heard of the movie "John Tucker Must Die"?..pretend he is John Tucker, and you are the girls. Find a girl who will give him what he wants, and then rip it right out from him. It works, trust me, I did it to a guy before. Hun, you need to find a guy who worships the ground you walk on. But please- dont wallow in front of your ex. Good luck finding a guy who isnt a pig.!

im not a man but ive asked a lot of male friends, and majority said that most of them tend to make a woman feel like they dont hurt when in fact they are hurting as much; and even hurt 3 folds more than you know of. the thing is that they have different outlets of their emotions like drinking, finding someone else and make you jelous or whatever just to forget the pain they feel.
men are not like us (girls) who can drool and express our emotions as mush as we like. men are bound to conceal their emotions.

i have studied psychology and its true that basically men (not being sexist) can have sex with someone and not have any emotions about it - whereas women = feelings when anything is sexual. they're not cold hearted, they just see it as another need, an itch to be scratched. he may still care about you. a lot. but sex is sex to most men.. dont fret, if its meant to be, it will be, if not, move on yourself and find someone who truly cares and loves you for who you are.
