You don' t want religion. Religion if you search it out is really a binding. If you are truly searching for an answer then Jesus is what you want and need. He is peace love, joy, kind, merciful, longsuffering, gentle and anything else that brings happiness. He said "I am the light of the world" . He didn't say religion is the light. There are many types and kind of religion. As I already said religion only binds you. He, Jesus, said " who the Son sets free is free indeed" . Again religion can' t & won' t set you free. He said "my peace I give to you" and all who are heavy laden come and I will givew you rest for my yoke is easy and my burden is light". Religion doesn't give and can't give peace nor rest.
Religion can' t offer or give you anything only turmoil, confusion, heartaches etc. Trying to keep up with cans & don'ts is what religion causese you to do.. Jesus is the Way, Truth and the Life. In Him, Jesus, You have all these, love, peace and joy. And, it is joy unspeakable and full of glory.. Jesus came to set the captive free. We all have been held captive thinking we have to do this or we're doomed or if we do this we will be hit on the head by some mean God who sits in heaven waiting to condemn us or cause us pain for something we have done. Jesus isn' t like that Our God is a loving, caring forgiving God. He set us free from all this at the cross though a lot of preachers hold our sin over our head and condemn when Jesus has already paid the price for ALL ALL ALL ALL our sin. What youwant again is not religion but Jesus.

The religion established by the Messenger of the One True God gives me and all other human beings much more good than we expect, than we think, than we imagine:
Awareness of our ignorance to get out of the eternal abyss!...
Peace of mind and peace of the world.
Selfless love and prosperity, happiness, progress.
Spirituality and assurance for the glorious future in all the worlds of God.
Unity with God, with other men, with the world.
Freedom from all earthly fetters.
Making preparation for the exciting journeys into His world of revelation.
Being awake.
Being joyful.
Being saved.
Being constantly in a new blissful state at His eternal guidance.

Religion gives you continuity and community. It is the visible and touchable part of worship. Spirituality is only a small part of who we are as human beings..but a very personal and valueable part. I prefer to go with the Spiritual and faith based love of God, but I do get a kick out of worshipping with other believers and taking communion. But remember, the actions of Religion is not what makes you Spiritual. It is the faith to believe in a person you can not touch, see, nor hear with your senses. It is the listening of your heart to Heavenly ways.

No religion can show the direct path to God.
Actually religions are just something to make people realise that they are doing wrong nd to reform.

a sense of comfort.. hope .. belonging ..
i would be the same person with or without religion .. with my own morals and knowing right from wrong
but it is wonderful being part of something that feels right to you .. with people who share your beliefs
