Ok I have a recipe that does not have the condensed milk in it but you can put the choc. chips in. IT is
2 cups peanut butter (1 regular jar)
2 cups white corn syrup
2 cups confectioner sugar
2 1/2 cups powdered milk
Put all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well. You can add the choc chips anytime but would be easier to do so after you have mixed everything up first. Use a regular spoon and spoon out and roll into little balls. Place on a wax paper covered cookie sheet and place in fridge or freezer to harden. These are great my kids eat them up so quick I need to have stock in the ingredients and my kids refuse to eat PB sandwiches so this is a good way to get a little extra protein etc into them by the way of a after school snack.

This version contains rice krispies for a bit of crunch. One of my favorites growing up!

Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients:

2 cups creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
4 cups confectioners' sugar
3 cups crisp rice cereal, slightly crushed
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Melt peanut butter and butter in saucepan, over low heat. In large bowl, mix crispy rice cereal and confectioners' sugar well. Pour melted peanut butter and butter over cereal and sugar and blend together thoroughly.
Form into 1 inch or smaller balls, spread on cookie sheets, chill till firm in refrigerator (over night is okay).
Melt chocolate in double boiler and keep melted while working with balls. A teaspoon is best to use in dipping the balls in chocolate. Dip and place on cookie sheet. As you dip them place them back on cookie sheet and keep chilled till firm.
