The first thing you need to do is give yourself at least an hours free time. The reasons your feeling trapped or worn out is that your juggling to much in your life right now so get yourself a pen and paper and while your sitting somewhere quiet and comfortable jot down all the important things that are plauging your mind. Next write down numbers one to ten on how important they are next to them. Put them to the side of you and then lite some candles around you, candles help focus your thoughts and help sooth nerves. Just reflect on your life for a while and keep breathing in and out nice and slowly. The best thing to do after this is have a hot drink and get a good nights sleep. The pen and paper record your worries helping you to decide when to deal with them so you can take them off your mind for a while, candles and deep breathing repel bad thoughts and feelings while the hot drink and sleep helps lighten up your mood and give you a bit more energy to work with.

An alternate thing to do is have a hot bath with aromatic bath salts, listen to some quiet music have some chocolate and go to bed!

Everyone has given you good ways to relax, but I'd like to tell
you that once the pain of feeling this way gets to be too much
you will find a way to pick yourself back up and make some changes in your life.

I also think you need to explain this question further. Why do you
feel trapped? in a relationship or job you don't like? This can be a tough one and a lot of us have been there. In order to get out of this downward spiral. You have to get honest with yourself and about your situation. It can take a lot of reflection and a lot of growing and learning.

You may try getting up an hour early to exercise..I know it seems awful, but it gives you time to yourself and puts a little pep to your step each morning. A lot of us feel that we never have enough time so we rush around trying to do everything all at once. This can definetly wear you down.

I hope this helps you some, but the question needs to get more specific.

It depends on the reason you feel trapped. Six years ago I too felt trapped extremely over tired and I felt like giving up. I sought out counseling and began to take small steps towards getting my life in the order that would make me happy.IT WAS HARD but well worth the effort. I escaped an abusive husband and today I have a job a home of my own and I am free of his fear.Baby steps and a support system is important. Take care and I wish you much luck.

You need to find out why you feel worn out and trapped. Work out a plan, make small steps to get away from this. In the meantime, get away from it all for as long as you can afford. An hour, a day, whatever.

If it's a nice day [as it is here now] sit out on your patio, on your swing if you've got one, and listen to the world go by, while in the background you can hear those wind bells from next door tinkle with the breeze. Close your eyes and imagine that your floating on a cloud, looking down on all the other trapped and stressed beings beneath you running about like demented ants. get your favorite beverage, and chill baby.
Of-course if it's raining, stay indoors and watch TV.
Alternatively... do as above, and get wet. Works for me!!!

Well personly it depends on why i feel like that, most of the time its my home, i find it relaxing to just sit by the sea close my eyes and listen to the ocean, clear my head and breath in and out slowley, then after a while i feel very relaxed, then i go home, close my bed room window heat my room up but puting the heating on or leave some oils bruing in there then i run a nice hot bath with candles burning and insence sticks burning, with a drop of lavender in the bath, bubbles and just relax to some music like meditation music then i blow out all the candles and snuggle up in my bed and sort the bath out in the morning
hope this helps, jaz x

I listen to Hawaiian music. It takes your from your angry place, and puts you into balance.

You can't go from dispair to happy, you must follow the road back. You should try to get balance before happy. Or you will feel like you are always failing.

I recommend: you can find at Barnes and Noble.
