...when if there really was just "Adam & Eve" that in order for mankind to have come from them, there would have to have been serious incest for several generations. It would seem that not only is this morally wrong, that the birth defects would have been so widespread that we would have never made it this far. Also, this is not a blow at Christianity, religion or creationism at all, I've just always wondered this, and don't want to feel stupid asking it in a normal discussion as there's got to be a straightforward answer right? otherwise it just seems ludacris...

Since there was no choice in mates there was incest. But because that happened so close to the original creation that was so pure. Degradation caused by toxins, exposure to UV,and all the other damage caused by time were not a factor. The fact that people live near 1,000 years bares out the fact that the body was much stronger then. This is fact is an evidence to prove evolution erroneous. As time goes on the law of diminishing returns says that everything is more likely to degrade than to improve... Jim

Before God gave law, He created Adam and Eve. So, there was no moral laws in effect yet. Adam and Eve had many children who indeed "married" each other. The conditions of earth and human biology were different before the flood (See Noah) so that there was no damage to genes due to the parents being related. Remember that Adam and Eve lived over 900 years, a feat impossible for humans today. This is logically because their biology was somewhat different.

Bible has nothing to do with human origin as it is only a story of a human being whose name was Jesus!
There are many mythical interpretations about creation of mankind and these include those you have referred to.

According to one school of thought, complex organic materials generated from stars could have been transported to the solar system and it could be a possible cause of life on earth! In the same way, similar organic materials may have been transported to other planets as well, which goes to suggest that we are not alone in the universe!

properly I propose we don't comprehend precisely what the outcomes would be of our movements for all time. so they might attain rudeness or undesirable well-being or undesirable funds or in spite of, rather. & as for helping people, what's that verse that announces "great is your reward in heaven"...we don't continuously get what we actually ought to down right here, with the aid of fact this planet is sinful & issues do no longer prove precise, yet God has promised we can get what we deserve........stable or undesirable. & yea, Scripture is frequently misinterpreted. lol. i've got heard that till now; this is likewise what the Pharisees stated, remember? & Jesus stated they have been incorrect. I propose in a STRICT sense, they're precise IN THAT with the aid of fact of our sins, undesirable issues ensue, yet this is actual vast, & they're narrowing it, that's distorting the image. AKA I disagree with them too. lol. & yeah, i'm no longer a Bible "student", yet i'm a Christian :)

Take it one step farther and ask how do you explain the dinosaur age and all the people's living here before the time of Christ? We have shown that earth was inhabited thousands of years before Christ and the bible. What were those people and where did they come from.

There would have been incest, but that wasn't against the law then, as there wasn't the law then. Figure with perfect bodies, then the genes would not have mutated, so no health problems, then.

That is why it is called faith based religion...
No proof necessary...
Religion is the best thing for some people...
As long as it is not a "wacko" religion...
