Well, there is no real answer. Im a 16/m, my last relationship was 10 months, and then it was a bad break-up. Even though I found someone new 3 months later, I didnt get fully over the last break-up till about a year. My new love helped me finially leave it behind, and now I'm doing great, Its been a year with the girl Im with now.
On the other hand, A girl broke up with my best friend (18/m) after a year and a half, just so she could date another guy out of town, which wont work, i already know it. His situation was much worse then mine I think, he slept with her, and she left him for a pathetic reason. But, its been about 3 weeks sense then, and even though he thought that he would be hurt for a long time, hes already ok, and last night at a party he was flirting again with a girl that he liked there.
So, it may take you a while, or may not. Just dont let it bring you down, let it make you stronger.

There is really no way to predict how long it is going to take you to get over a break up. There are many factors that weigh into it. Was it a good relationship or were you constantly arguing. Was the other person abusive in anyway. Why and how did it end.

Well I was in an 6 year relationship that ended about 2 years ago for good. It was on and off for about 2 years before that. I am 24 and have a 5 year old daughter from that relationship. It took me up until about 8 months ago to completely be ok with everything and now I am going strong!! Best of luck!!

Female.

I was 28, had been married for 6 years and together for 10.

I got over it fairly quickly cause I broke up with him.

However, I met a guy some time later and we only dated for a month but it took me about 6 months to get over.

Another guy was someone I'd had a crush on when I was much younger and had the change to go out with him. We only dated for about 4 months and now 8 years later, there is still some hurt there.

A little advice from an actual witch... DON'T DO IT!!!! Misuse of forces you don't understand can be a VERY big mistake. In my past I used a little magick in ways I probably shouldn't have, and I really paid for it each and every time, and what I did would be very minor compared to what you're talking about. Heck, someone I know misused magick and their house almost burned to the ground. In short, don't do it.

Will there is one problem your having sex!! I say that because you can't always tell if that person is in lust with you or if that person is there to grow with you.so that makes it hard to get over that relationship. But next time remember why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free.

Depending on the relationship and how much you've invested in it will determine the length of time to get over. Also the length of time will be determined by your strength, self control and desire to get over it

female, I was 20 and we were together for just over 3 years. It took me 3 months of self pitty and then I realized I was only hurting myself because he was having fun with others before we even broke up. So, do not put yourself down for to long because life will go on with out you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are strong willed, no time at all, be careful about jumping right into another relationship, rebound relationships rarely work.

good luck.
