I broke it off with a guy cuz he wouldn't committ to me. I'm glad I broke it off cuz it shows he can't have his cake and eat it too now. I see him regularly cuz he lives by me. I am still in love with him. What would make you want me more, Me ignoring you or me calling you telling you I miss you.

neither. either way you are trying to play head games. if you want him back, go tell him so. do it just once and if he says no, leave the whole thing alone. his 'not wanting to commit' translates to not wanting to be with you except for sex. playing games like this just makes you look like a pathetic, insecure psycho. get honest with him and yourself, then ask for what you want. don't get all crazy if you don't get it. there are lots of us guys out there who'd appreciate an honest, loving woman, go find one.

I'm still so confused by this tactic. You broke it off with him to get him to commit? I'm sure that makes sense to someone, some where...
But from a man's point of view... "Hmmmm, she broke up with me, I guess she never really cared that much. Fine, I'll just move on."
Why do you ladies think it's clever to destroy a man and break his heart in an effort to prove to yourselves he loves you? How does that even compute? And then you are surprised when he doesn't hang out on your front porch?

What would make me want you more: your ignoring me or your calling me to tell me you miss me? Neither, because I don't want you at all.
And that's where you're running into a dlemma (no, not that I don't want you at all): you're assuming he wants you, and in assuming he wants you you're assuming he misses you and/or wants you back.
You're still in love with him, but that doesn't mean he's in still in love with you, in love with you at all, or was ever in love with you the WAY that you're in love with him.
You broke it off because he wouldn't commit to you. That's fine. You want one thing, he doesn't. That's to be expected.
Give your heart time to catch up to the decision your brain made and go on with your life.

Do not expect him to commit to you after a breakup. If he would not commit to you before, he sure will not now. If he says he will, he is not thinking with his heart---if you know what I mean. Drop him and move on.
