Doesn't sound like you're in that bad of shape, but now is the time to do something, don't wait. Simple adjustments are all you need, park a little further from work, take the stairs instead of the elevator when you can. Stay away from the bad foods, you know, the fried stuff, over sugary things, excess alcohol. Drink more water, less soft drinks. It won't take much for you to get to where you want to be. Don't place too much emphasis on a number, look at yourself honestly, are you too fat? Love handles showing? Take a picture of yourself, try these things and see how you look in a year. Stay healthy.

One of the big differences that could cause weight gain -- a less active life style -- especially as you settle into your Adult Career and Responsibilities -- more sedentary.

Another big reason -- Women will add weight to their frame as a result of having children. This is something that is just there as our bodies make the changes in pregnancy, and no amount of work will change that re-distribution.

Don't make it about how much you weigh on a scale. You could weigh more than you did at 19 and have a much better body at 27. Hire a personal trainer for at least a few sessions to get you started on a workout plan. You don't want to be skinny and flabby.

i would choose a more realistic goal - 130 lbs to start. once you work down to that, if you are still unhappy with your body, try to keep on going. don't beat yourself up if you can't get al the way back down to 120. body image is based on more than weight...you may gain muscle working out, which is heavier than fat. so go by whether or not youre happy with your body image, not necessarily with your weight!

Relax. Your weight naturally goes up. Work out it might not make you lose weight. It will make you look better than when you were 19 at your present weight.
