At six months, your cat has developed it's ability to reproduce. Please take it to be spay/neutered. There are so many strays around that it is our responsibility as loving pet owners to do this for our pets. Also please make sure your pet has had it shots and has been checked for worms.

Keep its litter box clean, give it good food and fresh water daily, lots of love and attention and enjoy the many wonderful years of companionship the two of you can give each other.

At six months it is time to get it spayed or neutered. Behavior like spraying will stop after you do that.

Other than that -- be gentle with it, give it food and love. Clean the litter box frequently.
