when i was a young boy growing up in india , a schoolgirl from my class died of a snake bite, and according to islamic customs she was burried within 24 hours. that night she spoke to me in dreams and told me that she was not dead but in a deep coma when burried, and came back to life in the grave. she wanted me to open the grave and see how she had struggled.
The next night i crept out of my home went to her grave with a spade and opened the grave. when i tore the shroud what i saw horrified me. she had not only struggled but even torn her flesh with her fingernails been unable to breathe.
Its almost 30 years since this happened , and i still cant understand why she spoke to me in dreams. I am an athiest and never believed in anything. however i am begining to wonder whether the Buddhist beliefs of transmigration of the soul can be in someway true?

can someone explain it to me?

Of all the religions in the world Buddhism seems to hold the most merit since it seems to be based more on the teachings of a real person and does not propose that there is any kind of God as such, however having said that, being an Agnostic, I would have to experience the situation myself to give feedback on this matter. I believe if it can not be proven either way then it is possible, just as are all the possible theories proposed by other religions.

The poor girl! What a terrible thing! I believe that the living and dead can speak to each other through dreams. In dreams the worlds of life and death are not separated. It doesn't have anything to do with religion. Just the power of the human soul.

have no doubt this story really concerns you. there are many things beyond mortal kin. this is one of them, however, this girl must have felt a kinship to you in some way or another for her to appear to you as she did. perhaps in a different life perhaps she was to play a more significant part in your life had she lived. perhaps to tell you in her own way that people make mistakes and everything is not as it seems. i don't claim to have the entire answer but these are some of my thoughts. hope i have helped some, if not i apologize as i have tried.
