People can be happy, joyous and free without belief in God. I am curious, which God you are referring as being "loving"?

Some people need an imaginary friend to be happy, joyous and free, others don't. I don't believe in a god, so I have no strict dogma's to live up to and I have no fear of hell, so I just might be more happy, joyous and free than a lot of religious people.
I wish you piece and love too.

I don't need to believe in a God to be Happy, Joyous and free. Those can be obtained without a religion or a faith.

I am happy joyous and free and I don't even need to believe there's a god!
So sad that you cant feel the same instead you have to blame everything that happens to you on some cartoon figurehead.

I do believe and I am as joyous as I can be. I am not perfect and it is hard to give al my troubles to God to let Him deal with them. I give them up to take them back to give them to taske them back. Yes God is a loving God but He also has punishment for those who do not obey. It is trhe same thing any parent does for their child when they want what is best for them.

I had the sight of something for a moment that made my heart jump and pound. I entered into the place, turned around and it was gone. I believe in a loving GOD who takes away things that are unreal and unseen, in an imagination only to make revenge on another..........the raven flies and saw the death of the heart.....

Most fundamentalists don't believe in a loving god -- god is presented as someone who judges, punishes (hell), believes in sin, etc. So ... the way to a loving god is to go beyond these concepts and beliefs and try to get to the real god of unconditional love, the one that is typically not represented in most religions.
