If you are referring to the God of Christianity, I would have to say no. I am basing this on thoroughly reading the bible. According to the bible your reward in the afterlife is happiness, joy, and freedom.

certainly HE does. however if one is happy, joyous and free all the time how could one learn ? when we have problems which need to be solved and we do so this provides a feeling of happiness, joy and peace we solved the problem. this feeling will continue until the next problem comes along and the process starts all over again. thus life continues in a circle with its ups and downs until the end of our existance on this plane.

The One True and Loving God wants us to be happy, joyous and free, not physically BUT spiritually.
Because physical happiness based on grasping; spiritual happiness based on sharing. This is the reason why mankind are still suffering although we already have many religions.

Of course God wants us to be happy, joyous and free. He gave us free will to make our decisions. Just like parents teach their children right from wrong & we pray that they will do the right things. But our children have a free will of their own. He also gave us His ten commandments to tell us how to be happy and joyous. These laws aren't suggestions. When we follow them we end up living a moral life and are happy with ourselves and will be rewarded in the end with eternal life with God.

Of course he does, but he holds it back from me for a "reason" just like he gave it for no "reason" so I fly with the "ravens" and forgot what "angels" ever were.....death to the heart......

Yep.

And She never had a judgmental or punishing thought for all of eternity. People do like to tell that lie about Her though.
