I mean hello?? Even if you're religious!! A toy in Jesus' or Moses' shapes? A toy that says "I'm the only way...etc" or "Thou shalt not commit adultery"??? Do children have to know about "adultery" so early in age? Do little children kill, to ask them not to? Or "Not to covet their neighbor's wife"???!!! That's crazy!
What's you opinion on this?

---P.S: I'm not religious, but doesn't the 2 nd commandment say not to make images this way? They offend both Christians and non-Christians!

This is brain washing at the lowest level - the earlier a child's mind can be tipped to one thought process, the easier it is to control them. I am offended by all the hype that is being piled on children too young to think clearly for themselves.

Clarity about the second commandment. Idols are representative of much more than the Golden Calf or Pagan Idols. Money, if worshipped, can be an idol. Anything you fall into slavery or bondage with...can be an idol. Do you absolutely have to have 2 cups of coffee in the morning?? You've fallen into bondage with those cups of coffee. The only thing we should NEED each day is the Lord our God. We are allowed to WANT anything.....

There isn't anything wrong with a "toy" Jesus or Noah and the Ark playset. I've even seen David and Goliath Chess sets and such. I do think it is overkill though.

It says not to WORSHIP images.

And I'd say it's better than buying a toy gun any day.
