They are only human...

Good point
Don't we all wish that such enthusiasts would realize how silly they look? but then that behavior is evident in many situations whether someone is trying to convince you of the validity of their faith or that their political point of view is the correct one or that a particular consumer product which they are using is better than yours. Most of us will do this at some time or another. It is also a human trait, perhaps rooted in the need to feel better than everyone else, to be loved and respected and idolized.
It's when arguments and debate become too forceful that you start wondering what the motives might really be.
Of course, when forceful argument turns into forceful submission then it's time to get out while you can!

It doesn't make sense to make fun of others unless these people who make fun lack maturity. Christians are not seeing this as a comical issue but a life and death situation. To laugh at it means that you are bias towards others beliefs and dead set on proving ur heretical views but those who are open to listen and respectful. To say that they are "only human" is an excuse. People who use that excuse are unhappy and have personal issues which shows that they cannot rise above it.

You can't rape the willing......would you make fun of the rapists...or the one getting raped.

No One should Force (Religion) onto anybody, and Proving is a debate on and on.
Making fun of something that you do not understand or do not care to hear about or be involved in, is a little immature, but then again, we are only Human.

Well said! The only people in here I have seen try to convert people are the bible thumpers. Everyone haves a right to believe in what they want so let others do the same. When people try to force their religion on people that shows they aren't to strong in their faith cause if they was they would NOT be making sorry attempts to convert people.
Then some of them say if you are a Non -believer then your going to hell. HAHAHA yeah right! Someone who dint believe in hell can't go to hell. Secondly that is what the bible teaches them that is for the people who follow that religion that is not for everyone else. I dont practice any religion and I dont worship the devil or god or anyone else!

I am a Christain for over 36 yrs. I do not even talk to anyone about Christainity unless they ask me something first. I live the life before everyone, I just retired from my employer after 38 yrs. And many thanked me for living a Christain life before them, A true Christain many times don't even have to speak one word. First of all, A person can say they are a Christain, & they don't live the life before the people. Always, the Life of a True Christain & how he/she present themselves before the world can speak more than talking to someone all day & then not live it. Christainity is a on going process of learning. No True Christain should not have to force anything on anyone, If God wants you to say something, then God will open the door. Yes a young Christain is over zealous, But I have learn a lot in 36 yrs. If my life does not speak for itself, then my words will be meaningless.

I don't force my religion on anyone, but if someone's asking a question, sincere or not, I'm going to try and give them an answer.

I haven't seen anyone trying to force their religion on anyone else on this forum. I just see people responding with their opinions and beliefs which is what we're all doing here in the first place. If people ask religious questions they should be prepared to get many different responses. Who are we to judge which is right or wrong...it's an opinion. We all have one!

I don't think it is about forcing or proving but rather sharing-if others want to make fun of me for that then fair enough-I'm sure I'm tough enough to be able to handle it ;) :D:D
I don't judge people for their own opinion, and if making fun of another is the only way they can express themselves, then fair enough again...

But my shared faith is free, not forced or to prove anything.
It's for others to prove me wrong (If they wish to), if they can
God Bless you xxx

All religion was forced unto others, one way or another. Christianity in particular was propagated through the sword.
