Absolutely right- After a few centuries of power, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Spain & UK slowly decayed. Rome was taken down by Goths (Germans) & Huns (Mongolia).

Usually the rot begins from within: State of the Union: 55% divorce rate, 30% children born are bastards, math scores plunging, trailer thrash population is on the rise, drug use higher, AIDS/HIV rampant, children are lazy, that's why we need 11 million illegals to clean the bowels of America.

Even more scary: China & India are on the rise and they can do 80% off ALL our jobs for 20 cents on the dollar.

U tell me where we are going?

If I am not mistaken the Greeks and the Romans are still around. They are just not the most dominant nations. Just like the Brits, each nations or area state has had it's turn at being the most powerfull in it's era. The other point is the victor gets to write the history so the great nation states' history is what prevailes. The decline in a states power is not necessarily from immorality but may be from a change in technology. Immorality may be a symptom of decline but not a cause.

If you are talking politically and government wise------yes.
But what lies ahead is better anyway. It's the Kingdom of God.

Dan 2:44 And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet.
1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.
1Co 15:27 For, He put all things in subjection under his feet. But when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him.
1Co 15:28 And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all.
