well first and foremost i have curly hair too and i love it...its different and exciting...really!

and if you straighten your hair then the chemicals do cause long term damage to it...

all said and done if you still want to do it then it will cost anything between 2,000-8,000 depending on the length and thickness of your hair (as also the posh-ness of the parlour)...

Rebonding changes the entire structure of your hair and lasts longer...till the hair that is rebonded grows out...

hair straightening is through chemicals or irons and lasts around 3-6 months and will gradually wear off with repeated washes...

I learned about it from someone else that lived in Miami. She had really long curly hair, and it cost her about $800 and took 8 hours. I searched around the Atlanta area and most places it was very expensive. I finally found a salon with an awesome gal that spent 4 hours doing my hair. It went from frizzy to flat and beautiful. I have absolutely loved it and never had so many compliments on anything in my life. The key is to have it flat-ironed during the process. Anyone that just puts a solution on it and combs it out doesn't know what they are doing. The products I heard of were Bio-ionic, and Chi. I used Chi. From what I learned the buzz word is "thermal ionic" for the different kinds. The heat is supposed to alter the make-up of your hair, then it is locked in by the solution. The second time I had it done (after 1 year of growing out) I did lose quite a bit of hair. But I had tons, and for me losing some was actually a good thing cause it thinned it out. But it does stay straight, other than the new growth.
I would highly recommend it as long as you can find someone that knows what they are doing. I could email you before and after pictures that would amaze!

It relies on upon the length of ure hair.hair straightening is the 1st time when u straighten ure hair n rebonding is whe u straighten on top of ure new hair which grows 4m the roots n they r ure characteristic hair.go 2 a decent saloon.ask the hairdresser 4 an exhortation then do it.ure hair straightening will last 4 six months or lil more.rebonding will last 4 atleast a year.but u will have 2 take loads of gud consideration 4 ure hair.dnt shading them once u straighten them.chemical response may happen leaving ure hair dry n dull.take care.

Don't do it! I say this because your natural curly hair is so nice, and it looks super attractive on you. It's hard to get those curls with heat (curling irons, wands, etc). Although, your hair looks nice straight too, but it's always great to have options on hairstyles rather than just having straight hair. It might get a little.... boring. Hope this helped!

ITS not as expensive as you think. Yes if u have it done at top hair salons but u can straighten your hair chemicaly with perming kit , use the 1 that perms it just comb it thru it works honestly or alternativly use a relaxer for arfo hair but not on coloured or bleached hair.

i personaly dont believe that you can strighten your hair permantly because i donnt think that it would work but it reallly depends on how curly your hair is i guess and if it is real culrly you r proubly just going to have to stick with the at home strightner and if it is not that curly than it may work but for about $30.00 or less but i have stright hair so i really dont know about this one just trying to give you diffrent suggestions to go bye and i would go to a very very popular salon and get it done and then it may stay for a little while but i really dont know because my aunt does my hair
