Why do Atheiests type in scripture to use against Christians, but yet do not believe the Bible?
If you use it then you must have some belief in the Words, or maybe there is a belief there, however you cannot understand it?

Can Atheists use regular language, please?

Beleivers, feel free to quote.

Maybe the atheists has read the scriptures but hasn't been given full understanding of them. Maybe that is why they continue to question. Perhaps they are looking to make since out of something that makes no logical since to them.

The only times I have seen an atheist use the scripture is to challenge another participant. That is a very common technique in argumentation. If a person regards something, in this case a book, as absolute truth, it is wise to use the same book to refute it on grounds of flaw.

What do you mean by "regular" language? I speak in regular language all the time.

And what makes you think an Agnostic or Atheist does not understand the bible. I understand it perfectly well even though I do not believe in it. I was raised Christian but left of my own free will. I think it is a bit arrogant to think just because we have left the belief system we do not know anything about it.

That would be like myself saying that all believers could not understand chemistry, physics, biology, genetics etc...

Now isn't that silly.

That's a pretty weak argument. If you're beliefs are strong enough, then wouldn't you be able to withstand someone using your holy book against you? Athiests who quote from the Bible aren't possessed of some belief in the words. We're usually just pointing out the hypocrisies present in Christian thought and actions.

Oh come on! That's such a ridiculous argument.

"If you use it you must have some belief in the words"?

I quote from all sorts of books, not just the Qu'ran or the Bible. I quote from Alice in Wonderland and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - I don't believe in those.

Because they are former Christians that have transgress against God's word and they must attack against God because they are living in sin so they use his word. These people are mockers and heretics that represent Anti-Christ. They say that they are thinkers but present otherwise. They say that they happy with themselves and their non-beliefs but yet they come in a R/S forum and show to the world that they lack morals and present themselves to be aggressive and incoherent on religious issues.
These are weak minded people who have a sick fixation and they need help.

They do believe the bible, They just refuse to accept it and live by it. They are affraid of it so they attack it.
They are just doing what satan is telling them to do like littel puppits. Satan is having the time of his life playing with their minds like that. And the non believers keep letting satan get away with it, day after day after day..

John 8:42-44 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Okay, no Biblical quotes then.

I don't believe in God because I find the concept quite ludicrous, frankly.

Is that 'regular language'?

Why do Christians try to understand science by quoting assages from the bible and when science explains itself you quote from the bible saying its not true.....

because when dealing with weak minded Christians who can't understand something that isn't in the bible, intelligent people tend to phrase arguments in terms they possibly might understand.
