We are here to spread God's word that others can be brought to God to be saved. We cannot save anyones soul. Only belief in Jesus and acceptance of him as the savior can do that and that must be btween the sinner and God since God will know the truth of their heart. We cannot even save our own souls, which is why we have to continually walk with God and follow His word and ask forgiveness of our own sin.

That's a good question. When I was amongst the Fundamentalist Christians they told me I must witness to all I come in contact with. Seldom did this seem the right thing to do so only occasionally did I witness. The person had to seem to be searching before I would speak. It seemed disrespectful to constantly force God's word on people.
Indeed God would bring someone to the Christian if the witness is to be effective and helpful. This quota and mania to witness is not of God.

If that means forcing people to believe in your religion then I suggest you have another think. If people want to believe in your religion then thats fine, but please don't force your beliefs on those that don't want a part. I should be able to walk through my local shopping mall without a guy coming up to me and asking me if I wan't a relationship with God. I have never seen any other religion do that so why do you feel you need to? I am quite happy the way I am so why would I want to change? I live for today as does my whole family and children.

Evidently some are here to evangelize regularly, some on occasion, and some none at all. If we can help others to see HIS light, hurray. Bottom line is the rest if up to GOD. peace

God wants us to share His word with others who do not know His son Jesus. It is not us who saves the soul, but the holy spirit who takes over and moves the lost person to accept Jesus as their savior.
