The word Christian means "Little Christ". When we follow Jesus we are being conformed to his image. The conduct of the Christian depends on how far he was away from that image when he was reborn a Christian and how much of his will he surrendered to Jesus. We will have our free will until we choose to trade it in.
As far as denominations go. Cult or Christian depends on who they say Jesus is. Some say he is the lamb of GOD come to take away the sins of the world and some say he was just another man. Some are based on the Bible and some are not but still call themselves Christians. Its all about where we stand verses who Jesus really is. Personally I can not see how anyone can come to any other conclusion other than 1. Jesus is GOD in the flesh come to redeem the lost or 2. He was a mad man. If you read the new testament this will become very clear

I am a Christian but I believe the Bible teaches that in the last days (now, I believe) that the church will fall away from the faith and become lukewarm. What the world is witnessing today is the apostate church and that is why it falls so far short of what people expect it to be. There is little difference today between the church and the world and there ought to be a big difference. The church today is very compatable with the world's ideas on music, fashion, education, occupations, materialism, money, and much more. Jesus said if anyone loves the world the love of the Father is not in him. I am sorry that the church has failed the world by not presenting a clear message of righteousness as Christ asked us to do.

I used to be Armenian Orthodox, but decided to change my religion to something the Christian community does not condone nor understand......I am now Pagan, not Wiccan.....not a Satanist. I believe in a highter power just like every other religion out there. I believe the Godhead is androgenous, as are his angels, I believe that the Godhead has many facets to his/her personality.....which is why many ancient religions believe in multiple personifications ......as in Anubis, Bastet, Ra, etc. Most religions have a "Trilogy"....Father, Son, Holy Ghost......and so on. So, my question is, whether you believe in God the Father and Jesus the Son, or Osiris and Isis, or Yahweh or Allah......it's all the same religion, man.......dig this......if we all understood that, there would be more peace in this world than you can imagine. Satanists are a class unto themselves.....they are only into their own gratification........Pagans and Wiccans believe that everything has a spirit, a soul, that there is no Satan....but we do believe in positive and negative energies, and the balance thereof. Why most Christians condemn us, I will never understand. Why is it a crime to say your body is your temple, and that you worship a power higher than yourself, and pay tribute to this power in your own way? We have a creed.....do no harm.......we believe in karmic law, whatever you do comes back at you threefold and ten. Who would want to take the chance on doing harm to someone when it's going to come back at the doer of the deed with a dire price?

none of those, I'm Baptist. long explanation. There were christians who were not catholic prior to the protestant reformation. They were called the ana-baptist meaning to rebaptise. We rebaptised people who the catholic church baptised as a baby because we beleive you only baptise saved people. We eventually went from the ana-baptist to just being called baptist I actually beleive for the most part that there are confusions on the part of most of those on certain issues. Some might be edging on a cult such as the JW's and Mormons. I actually beleive that catholocism is christianity that merged with Gov. and roman paganism, because of constantine forcing christianity on the romans who were pagans. thats where they get the beads and nuns and monks. definitly not in the bible.

You did not list any Christians, you just listed religions. Christianity is a way of life after accepting Jesus as your savior, and obeying God's laws to the best of their abilities. They repent of their sins daily, and share the word of God with others. I am a Christian.

in actuality i'm none of the above as I belong to a nondemoninatial Church where all types of rituals and ceremonies are practiced. feel as though however a person prays is their business as no religion is better than another. after all in this case the destination is what is important and NOT how we go on the journey.

Roman Catholic. Everyone has the right to believe in what they want to believe in. It's not for me to say what's right, what's wrong. Reason - religion is a very personal matter that is deep in one's soul.
