I thought everbody had heard of ABBA!! It's time to educate your friends! I think Dancing Queen is my favorite ABBA song. Brings back some memories!!

It's great to see their music lives on with Mamma Mia!!

Here's a nice, official ABBA web site. Of course there are tons of unofficial sites that are great too.

Since ABBA is still around today and just came out with a new CD I'm guessing their music just doesn't suit everyone. They were very popular when I was a teen in the 70's and my favorite song is a tie between S.O.S and DOES YOUR MOTHER KNOW.

Sure I've heard of them. It is an "old" Swedish
pop-group from the Seventies ... They created a
totally new and "cool" sound called "disco-sound"...

Please try "ABBA Gold"

including:
"Dancing Queen" · "Waterloo" · "The Winner (Takes It All)"
"Mamma Mia" · "Thank U For The Music" · "S.O.S."

and so on...

They were one of the biggest pop bands in the 70s. Won the Eurovision contest in '74 with 'Waterloo'. After they split up, Benny and Björn continued to produce music and was behind the musical Chess. Agneta and Annifrid went for solo careers.

Yeah, they're from the 70's/early 80's out of Norway or somewhere like that.

As for my fave song...I don't know...i'm more of an Aerosmith fan myself.
