p.s. the closed-mindedness and ignorance displayed in the first answer here clearly displays why i don't subscribe to christian dogma. thanks!

Deism's pretty cool. I don't belive in God myself, but I'm sure if He did exist, He wouldn't bother Himself with what we think, or how we worship.

Well it seems that you believe in the higher power of ignorance, for this higher power you believe in left you in such an ignorence about it... (don't take it as offense, just realize the consequences of what you say). How is that you believe in something for yourself, but you don't know what is it? Do you believe in anything at all, or you are expecting someone to tell you what to believe? The question is rhetorical...
Dreams might be meaningful for you too... what if tommorrow night you find out that an angel come to help you discover hat you were actually a Christina strayed from the real path of belief?
Such an exciting life!!!!

The trouble is, there is a name for every individual belief out there, which makes all beliefs 'true for you'. Honestly, can they all be right? Surely common sense tells us that truth can be only one.
I personally became a Christian (probably was a deist before) because Jesus called me.......in a 'road to Damascus' moment, the scales really did fall from my eyes. Liken it to Neo in The Matrix when he woke up in the real world for the first time, it was like that, like the life I'd been living was a lie. I was instantly healed of depression (nobody prayed for me, it was just God touched me) when I raised my hand to Jesus.

Well I suppose that is good for you to find out what your belief is. I, myself, discovered Christ. Although my husband is Catholic, a very organized religion, and I attend mass, I dont subscribe to everything that particular religion offers.
My bottom line is my love in Christ my Savior!

Try Buddhism and read about the four noble truths, it is about ending of suffering which can be practice by you alone.
Only you can help yourself, no other can help you.
It is a teachings rather than a religion.

All my discoveries about God come from the Bible, not from the internet. "There is a way that seems right unto man but the end thereof is the way of death."

Yes I found that I believe in the Lord God and His Son Jesus Christ and that I am going to keep learning about them because I have so many questions that I need to have answered and who better to answer them - God

IF you didn't accept Jesus as your savior, you are in the company of all the other non believers out there. They are all the same.
