Try Boracay in Philippines is very beautiful beach, very friendly people, long beach that your wife can walk bear-foot in the morning excise and I'm sure your wife will love it.. Happy vacation for both of you..

With a 2 mth pregnant wife, I would spend a short &
wonderful vacation in the following "prioritised" countries:-
1. Singapore - safe & clean but urbanised.
2. Malaysia - natural charm but must be street wise
3. Philippine - traffic jam. Charming & friendly people.
4. Thailand - all of above except language & cleanliness
problem.
5. China - all of above but too big.
6. Taiwan/Japan/S. Korea - too expensive.
7. Indonesia & others - don't think of it.
The choice is yours!

a lot of beautiful places to visit in asia
if you like the beach:
1. Maldives has so many beautiful resort and beaches
2. Phuket, Thailand would be an interesting place to visit -
3. Palawan or Boracay in the Philippines can be exciting too.
4. Bali, Indonesia is well known for their beach resorts.
If you are after to see asian cities and shopping:
Hongkong, Bangkok, Singapore, Tokyo will be interesting!
If you are after something different to see - like the culture, people and customs:
Chiang-Mai of Thailand,
Cebu, Iloilo and Aklan of the Philippines in January during city festival can be enjoyable to watch and experience.
Chinese New Year in Hong Kong and Singapore in February.

Come to Malaysia first then take a train to Thailand...the journey by train will be amazed. Malaysia Truly Asia
