9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.
8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

I am a Christian of many years. You have much truth in what you say and I agree but, kind of like evolution, you have made some blatant mistakes too. I don't feel outraged when you deny the existence of my God. That has always been around, even when Christ lived they denied Him, and so they killed Him. I don't feel insulted or dehumanized over evolution. I accept what the Bible says, including the killing of Egyptian babies. I didn't write it and what is important is whether or nt it happened. I have not one bit of problem with the virgin birth and neither do millions and millions of other people. Like the Bible says your premise is right but your conclusions are totally off.

Hey Mr.Mojo

just looked at all your Yahoo questions -

Do you really want answers to your questions -

Sounds to me like you're trying to make God look silly -

God cannot be mocked - whatever a man sows that he will also reap. Gal 6:7

If you really want answers, the BIble says
Seek me and you will find me if you seek me with all your heart....Jer 29:13

are you really doing that?

1)You read the bible over and over without knowing what it means.

2)You accept the meanings of selected pieces of the bible given by self appointed "experts" in suits, who collect money from you.

3)You believe the bible, which has plagerised other religions and has been re translated, reformed and reassembled hundreds of times, is the word of a diety.

4)You defend countries whose religion is most like yours, but at the same time criticise their religions from which yours was adapted.

5)You believe in the "creation" of things as they are and that women were formed from a man's rib bone, despite a plethoria of evidence to the contrary.

6)You have "faith" in these things because thats what daddy believed.

7)You believe the events in "Revelations" will come true, even if you have to make it so.

8)These points will fill you with unchristian thoughts of anger.

9)You are too narrow minded to change your view point.

10)You go to a family reunion looking for a date.

Is this a question or a statement with a question mark at the end?
Please feel assured that I will pray for you. This is not the desired effect of your diatribe, but it will do the best good.

I have to admit, you've hit the nail squarely on the head; and I have no doubt that the fundamentalists are going to come after you with the same hammer. Well done -- and watch out.

You have missed it 100%. As a Christian, I am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day.
