I certainly don't. I am very forthright about what I believe and don't believe in both my questions and my answers (some of which are deliberately provocative) and never censor myself for fear of external censorship - though I'm not directly offensive, as I don't see that it adds anything.

I have yet to receive a single violation notice or any other censorship from Yahoo so I can't say I've had the same experience as you would appear to have had, however.

There is a difference between free speech and not being respectful to others. You can say just about anything about facts, but when it comes to people, that is a different matter.
The "censors" that you talk about are here to make sure that you and the rest behave in an appropriate fashion.

I don't practice any religion and im not against any neither. I dont think the "bible thumpers" out there have a right to try to shove their religion in others faces. If they was strong in their faith then they would NOT be on here trying to convert people. They believe in what they want to and let others do the same.
As for freedom of speech...... Freedom of speech goes as far as you take it until you infringe on others rights then it stops there. People don't realizing what things they are allowed to say and what they aren't. They dont choose to stand up for their rights cause they dont know what freedom of speech really means. As long as you dont cross over into someone Else's rights with your free speech then you can say what you want. (Harassing people on here is NOT allowed)

I personally don't think it's censors actually associated with Y!A, just christians on here who cannot face certain truths, or having their beliefs challenged, for fear they are proven wrong.

I have, in the past had a few of my questions deleted because of the amount of abuse reports put upon them(from christians, undoubtedly)and considering they were never intentionally insulting, but rather questioning the "truth" of the things they take as "gospel", it simply reaffirmed to me the level of hypocrisy, deceit and fear that prevails within (particularly christion based) religions.

I may be wrong, but I think questions are deleted such as these due to the amount of abuse reports, rather than investigations into actual abuses.

Another thing that tells me I am right in my assumptions is the way people get "bad answer" votes when clearly, they are not "bad answers", rather anti-christian. (ooh, I see this is beginning to be voted as a "bad answer"...LOL!)

Having freedom of speech doesn't guarantee that you will speak intelligently. If you don't like the censors, don't come to Yahoo.

Because they own the resource, they get to decide how the resource is used. You accept their terms and conditions to use their resource.

There are plenty of other outlets for speech that don't carry such conditions.
