How do you feel about interracial dating?

Do you think it's right or wrong to date interracially, have you dated someone of another race and waht was it like the first time?

I have no problems with it @ all .. needless to say I have dated a man of another race prior. Its should always be about the connection you have with that person and who they are on the inside.

When you love someone, it doesn't matter what color yr partner is.. The most impt thing is the ability to communicate with each other and enjoying each other's company....

My 1st love was a guy of different race and different faiths.... We were together for 2 yrs and thruout these 2 yrs there are just some things that I can't explain in words, but we became closer and the love stronger....Although there are so many dfferences, we did not focus too much on it and just enjoy each other company... Needless to say, we would have been married now if we had not called it quits(he can't face the stress of having 2 different faiths in our marriage in the future..)

Initially, when we go out people would stare and even his frens... Our family do accept our interracial relationship though... But after a while, we began not to be so bothered by the stares....

Its not wrong to date interracially... If you feel comfortable and enjoy each other company, it shouldn't stop u..... If you feel uncomfortable by pple staring at the two of u, the heck with them... Its yr life and not them.... We live only once, enjoy while you still can... And there are benefits of dating interracially too.... as you learn abt each other culture, difficulties and differences...

After all, the world now is much more open to interracial dating, so go ahead and live the experience.... trust me, you will enjoy it.... :) Gd luck!! :)

There's nothing wrong in interracial dating or for the matter getting married to people of different race or color. The most important part of the connection is understanding each other and knowing one another. The interracial feeling or the difference in color will not arise when your interest in each other is focused in matters of mutual understanding and getting along with each others likes and dislikes.

Love is a lasting forever thing. So take your time. and no rush. Boys look at 2 things, prettiness and good personality. You know what pretty is. Good personality is the way u act and speak and how u behave yourself, also how u conduct yourself. They often look for good qualities. This is quite a tough area to improve. In other words, if they like u, means they really like u. If not, then maybe there's still a chance u can improve. All the best to u.

I think its a great idea. I have done it and i loved every moment of that date and to think of ,it never crossed my mind that she is of different race. Interracial datings should be encourage.This will not only bind our society but reduce interracial crimes.

Love is love and has no race...I don't see any problem...in fact, I think it could be exciting dating someone from a different race. People please DO NOT be disrespectful when you post an answer...we are all humans and we might be different race but we are all equal...don't forget that.

Interracial dating is unacceptable. No foreigner is gonna be allowed to step into my house. Foreigners should be sent the hell home on the next fast train back to where they came from

They are ok , but the hardest relationship to swing is a Black/White one. Interracial dating is great if it is between a Black man and a White woman, the White woman sometimes, but not all the times, tries to adapt to Black culture. The man controls the relationship that is why. So if you are a Black female, the White man wants you to adapt to HIS culture. So unless you have one of those rare, good guys like Micheal Moore or Bill Clinton, the White guy will try to Whiten you up.

White men and Black women and Hispanic women are both the dominant counterparts in their race. White men and Black women will butt heads. A White woman like Ann Coulter or Martha Stewart is allowed to be dominant, and it's ok, but America does not like smart, strong willed Black women because of racist double standards. America hates both women and Blacks, so if you are both Black AND a woman, then America will hate you two times over. Which is why a White boyfriend will work extra hard to change you and despise your well being.

A lot of the Black girls with White men are low self esteem, possibly mentally slow, unattractive, not very educated and have 3 kids by a pants sagging White guy who is equally uneducated. This Black woman is usually racially abused by her White lover and sits quietly enduring racial slurs with no respect for herself. This White guy is equally angry that he has been rejected by White women and is only dating a Black girl, not because he wants to, but because he has to.

I am not talking about the token glitzy Hollywood couples who are few, far and in between, I mean the average American experience. There are White women who do the same thing and disrespect their Black dates, but not like the number of White men that do. I also know of White men that advertise the fact that they date an Asian as if they are selling a car instead of referring to a human, then go home and beat the poor girl into submission.

My first experience with interracial dating was with a White guy when I was turning 13, he was a very sweet nice young boy even though his parents were otherwise. We were young and he had not come into his social and moral beliefs or manly ways yet so all was well. I had many other White guys after that as I got older, but some were in it for alternative reasons.

Such as:
1. Doing it just to "say" they did, a checklist of races they've had.

2. Can't figure out a physical way to destroy Blacks so they try to do it mentally.

3. Start fights within the Black family to divide up Blacks against Blacks.

4. They enjoy Black sex and Black orgasms as tools, but don't actually like Blacks as human people.

5. To get back at Black men for dating White women.

6. Don't want to socially admit they are attracted to Blacks so they abuse the person so that person won't realize their sexual power over them.

Well, those are the basics, and really only apply to young White guys under the age of 30. Young White guys are very confused and lost. But I have found that White men who are 45+ are very secure with themselves. They just act normal and laid back, and usually date Black women frequently and with ease and want to learn about others and not control. They are usually financially secure and don’t have to worry about what people at work think and are high enough up in the company by then to not worry about losing their job (LOL!).

Something no one wants to talk about and I hope more Black women realize, really preppy White guys from the suburbs/townships or who were raised in farming communities out in the country treat Black women the best, have the best personalities, and make the best boyfriends. They are the ones who want to learn and listen. Low income, pants sagging, baseball cap White males from the city are the most racist, yet try to get in line to date Black women. Low income Whites are raised to be jealous of Blacks and all they know is what cheap TV teaches them. Preppy Whites get their beliefs from a better source by traveling with their parents money and reading a large variety of books and ideas.

You WILL have exceptions, but the general rule is preppy is the way to go if you are going to try a White man. Make sure your checking those zip codes ladies! I still date White men, but since I know the sneakiness they pull, I don't date as many as I could if I had no respect for myself. Since I see other Black women on these boards, I wanted to pass this info along to other Black women so they know the grass is not always greener on the other side.
