My question is. Do travlers and truckers still use C.B. radio's for road information. Also Would like to stay in Camp grounds along the way. Looking for good advice..

Truckers still use CB radios, but not as many as used to since Cell Phones have come out. If you have access to a computer along the way (internet cafes and truckstops now have computers too) check the various state DOT websites for updated road conditions within the state. Definitely check out KOA campgrounds. They're a chain of campgrounds believe it or not...which is a good thing. They're clean, all have decent facilities and they're actually secure in terms of access and have security. They're all over the US.

my brother is a trucker and yep they still use cb radios. and for campgrounds, go to http://www.dataoptions.com/campgrounds.htm, it has campgrounds and parks for every state in the country
