This is what's going on on 12-21-2012:
The Mayan Long Count calendar rolls from 12 Baktuns to 13 Baktuns. The calendar doesn't end. Time doesn't end. It's just like when we went from 1999 to 2000 and everyone flipped out--except a Baktun is 396 years long.
There is a rare (once every 26,000 years) astronomical alignment between the Sun and the Milky Way at dawn that morning which the Maya interpreted to mean the start of a new world age. Not the end of this one (which is already over). Not aliens (which they didn't know or care about). Not the anti-christ. Not jesus. Just different energy.

The world has been predicted to end about 10 times since i was born and im only 13 so i doubt it
