Aw, I'm on abit of a budget this week. So we're going to Roath Park (to feed the ducks) with a packed lunch (for us, not the ducks). But for tea we're having steak and kidney Fray Bentos pie with veg and new potatoes. Thats the closest I get to a Sunday Roast this week. So theres an economical idea for you to try. Its zero effort.

But my favourite has to be a joint of silverside roast beef with yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings. Gravy has to be made with wine, and the meat stock.

And you just can't beat christmas dinner no way. Only time of the year I go all out and wrap the bacon round the sausages, honey glaze the parsnips, prepare the fresh sage for the stuffing and actually eat the sprouts!

Gawd, would you believe I'm drooling?? Must stop to mop up the keyboard. Ha. : )

Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, Leseur peas, brown-n-serve rolls. We're simple people. No Yorkshire pudding for us.

Rice with vegetables or noodles with sweet chilly sauce or a variety of salads. I avoid meat for health reasons.
